Disney guests are the ultimate species of vacationers. Whether they have been to the Walt Disney World Resort in Central Florida, Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA, Disneyland Paris, Tokyo Disneyland, or have sailed on one of or all five of the beautiful Disney ships, they bring a plethora of magic to the table. Yes, Disney guests are magical. They too make the magic happen. That makes them honorary magicians. Disney guests have seen and experienced the good, the beautiful, and yes-the ugly, meaning Bob Chapek. Oh did he bring a deluge of dark magic to the table! Thanks to the good Disney magic, he disappeared. What else can Disney’s magical guests make possible? There’s more to appear and disappear. One guest must wonder where the list starts. Of course, it starts at the top.

5. Appear: Disney’s Magical Express-This cannot wait much longer. Bob Chapek discontinued Disney’s Magical Express on December 31st, 2021. It was a colossal aberration! Without Disney’s Magical Express, guests are now stuck paying for Mears Connect, a motorcoach service that falls short of their expectations. A short time ago, two brothers arrived on a late flight from New Jersey. They were staying at Disney’s Old Key West Resort. The motorcoach spent more than thirty minutes in the central terminal’s bus bay. After having finally departed, the motorcoach made a stop at Terminal C next door, to pick up nobody. The Mears Connect motorcoach took two hours to reach the Disney property. The service was tremendously horrible. Bibbidi, bobbidi, boo! The disconcerting Mears Connect disappears! Appear, Disney’s Magical Express! Three years removed is too long. It’s time to ride to and from Orlando Airport magically again.

4. Appear: Both water parks open-Why on Mickey’s green earth is only one water park open at either time, when both water parks should be open? What did Disney guests do wrong to deserve this trickery? Disney guests pay good money to enjoy one or both water parks, Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. Disney guests should have the choice to visit one of the water parks or best-water park hop. It’s only fair that Disney guests get back this advantage. Bibbidi, bobbidi, boo! Disney guests can be treated to a real water park experience. Disney’s water parks are aquatic magic at its best. With the wave of the magic wand, let it happen!

3. Appear: Lightning Lane is FREE-When Fast Pass first came around in 1999, the magic only got better. No more waiting on long stand-by lines! Guests had the opportunity to minimize their waiting time by obtaining a Fast Pass with their park pass. Easy peasy, yes? Along came the Bob Chapek era and Fast Pass was gone. Lightning Lane became the new name. Guests now pay between $10.00 and $25.00 per person to use Lightning Lane. This is pure insanity. This is pure highway robbery. Why hasn’t Josh D’Maro done anything to address this situation? It’s time that he does something about it. If he won’t do anything to address it, then let the guests fix it. Bibbidi, bobbidi, boo! Lightning Lane is now officially free. At Disney, who said nothing was possible? Without Bob Chapek at the helm, yes, anything is possible. Like Fast Pass, Lightning Lane was meant to be, should be, and always will be free.

2. Appear: Expand Disney’s Skyliner-Why not? Disney’s Skyliner has been a smash hit success. It conveniently connects Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, with a transfer point at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. But wait, if the monorail serves the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, why isn’t there any convenient transportation connecting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney’s Animal Kingdom? There’s nothing wrong with the Skyliner. There’s no charge to use it. It’s all good! Disney should sweeten the deal, by expanding Disney’s Skyliner. Bibbidi, bobbidi, boo! Disney’s Skyliner now connects Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney’s Skyliner is the greatest addition Disney made to its transportation system since the monorail. With the wave of the guests’ magic wands, Disney’s Skyliner connects all four major theme parks and resort areas in between.

1. Disappear: Park reservations for annual passholders-If there is any pandemic restriction to be removed, lifting park reservations for annual passholders staying on the Disney property is a must. Park reservations for length-of-stay passholders were removed on January 9th, 2024. It’s time for Josh D’Amaro to finish the job. Annual passholders should have the same benefit. Whether annual passholders are Disney Vacation Club members who pay good money for their yearly memberships, or regular guests paying to visit on a repeat basis, lifting park reservations is the guests’ ultimate dream come true. It’s understandable that park reservations were in place during the pandemic to control the crowd levels. It’s 2024, well beyond the pandemic. It’s time for Disney guests, Disney Vacation Club members or not, to not have to make park reservations every trip. Josh D’Amaro can just lift park reservations for Disney Vacation Club members alone. That would be cool, too. Either way is fair enough. “For the first time in forever”, park reservations should be a thing of the past. Once again, Disney guests can wave their magic wands. Bibbidi, bobbidi, boo! No more park reservations for guests staying on the Disney property!

Disney’s guests are what makes the world of Disney go round. There are the six resorts around the world, the Disney Vacation Club, Adventures by Disney, and its five majestic cruise ships. All are a part of what makes Disney’s guests so special. No Disney destination comes to life without them. Wouldn’t it be awesome if Disney’s guests could be magicians? Only if Disney’s guests could be magicians, so much would be possible. Guests would once again be riding Disney’s Magical Express to and from Orlando International Airport, complimentary! Both water parks would be open during any stay! Just like Fast Pass, Lightning Lane will once again be complimentary! For those staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney’s Skyliner will carry them through mid-air to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Why should they need to take a Disney Transport bus? Last, but not least, guests would love to make park reservations disappear. Whether Disney Vacation Club members or regular resort guests, being annual passholders is a special privilege. Since the pandemic, Disney guests have been endlessly patient. Only if Disney guests could be magicians, anything would be possible. Bibbidi, bobbidi, boo! They’d make the world a far better place.
